In Vlaardingen produceert Yara hoge kwaliteit volledig wateroplosbare meststoffen, potgrondmeststoffen alsmede een pakket vloeibare meststoffen met fertigatie als meest voorname toepassing. Yara’s commerciële teams voor meststoffen alsmede industriële producten zijn ook in Vlaardingen gehuisvest.

De locatie is gelegen aan de rand van de grootste glastuinbouwgebieden in Nederland en is gelegen direct aan de rivier de Nieuwe Waterweg, met een netwerk aan kanalen en rivieren richting de binnenlanden van Europa. Het heeft een centrale ligging in het Rotterdamse havengebied, Europa’s grootste containerhaven, en is derhalve een uitstekende locatie om ook de rest van de wereld te bedienen.

In Vlaardingen Yara produces high quality fully water soluble fertilizers, potting soil fertilizers and a package of liquid fertilizers mainly targeting the fertigation segment. Also Yara’s commercial teams for fertilizers as well as for industrial products are located on the Vlaardingen site. The site is located nearby the largest glasshouse areas in the Netherlands and also directly on the river, with a canal network to the heart of Europe. It’s located centrally in Europe’s largest container port and is hence a perfect logistics location to serve the world.
